Valerie Dugan joined IPS administration in September 2022. She previously worked for a Florida public school district for over 20 years before moving to Tennessee. 

Valerie and her family have two cats, two dogs and six chickens. She volunteers once a week at Hoof & Harness, an equine therapy non-profit in Strawberry Plains, TN. She has an associate’s degree in accounting and is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in management. 

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, live music and spending time with family and friends.
