Joe Griffin

Joe joined CTAS in 2016 to become one of two property assessment consultants. Joe has over 23 years of property assessment experience. 

Prior to joining CTAS, Joe worked for the Metro Nashville Davidson County Property Assessor’s office, where he served as the assessments manager. He also worked as an area supervisor for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury’s Division of Property Assessments. 

Joe earned the Residential Evaluation Specialist designation (RES) in 2004; the Tennessee Master Assessor designation in 2005; the TNAAO Award of Excellence in 2011; the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) designation of Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS) in 2012; and became an IAAO instructor in 2017. 

Joe earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in business management with a minor in general business/marketing from Austin Peay in 1993.
