TREEDC will once again partner with Tennessee Tech University to hold its annual conference and awards reception on November 14 at the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and awards reception at 37 Cedar Restaurant in Cookeville. The conference will start at 10:00 a.m. CST. Attendees will hear presentations from Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, sustainability professionals, energy services providers, PACE clean energy initiatives and updates from TDEC Office of Energy Programs and USDA Rural Development funding opportunities. 

Presented by County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS). In this comprehensive course, participants will learn essential skills and strategies for effective communication during emergencies and crises. Led by Deanna Lambert, a seasoned expert in government and media relations, this training is designed specifically for government employees in Tennessee.

Mark your calendars for our annual IPS Annual Conference!

A two-day course designed for economic development practitioners and community leaders at local, regional and state levels. Participants will better understand the importance of existing business and industry, techniques to identify and prioritize business and industry needs, and how to develop the strategies and tools to support business retention and expansion in their communities.

All IPS offices across the state will be closed November 28-29 for Thanksgiving holiday.

During a full week of lectures, exercises, and hands-on demonstrations, learn about hazard recognition, personal protective equipment, and monitoring, as well as rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
