Diane Watson serves as a program manager for the Naifeh Center for Effective Leadership. Before joining NCEL, Diane provided leadership training, development and executive coaching for over 10 years through her business, Diane Watson Executive Coach. Her clients have included the music industry, health care, higher education, banking, non-profit, family business and technology. She helped these clients navigate complex business challenges, lead multi-generational teams and create excellence across a growing work portfolio.

Before starting her executive coaching business, Diane had a 30+ year career working across a broad industry spectrum, including Tennessee State Government. This gave her insight into the internal politics, challenges and opportunities in those climates. Diane co-created the curriculum and taught coaching for the ICF-accredited master’s level Performance Coaching Program at Lipscomb University.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Georgia and her Master of Science at Middle Tennessee State University. In 2016, Diane served as the president of the Tennessee Chapter of the International Coaching Federation.
