Center for Industrial Services (CIS)
The University of Tennessee has instituted a pre-employment requirement to conduct background checks of new hires for regular faculty and staff. Some UT campuses and institutes also include checks for new term and limited duration appointment employees. A job offer is contingent upon a successful background check.
